I noticed a lot of hype surrounding the US team going into today’s match. A lot of hype, wishful thinking, and rubbish predictions. From what I’ve been reading on the various football sites that I frequent, an overwhelming majority of amateur pundits, blogsters, and fans considered the U.S. performance to be the worst in the tournament thus far. I agree, an absolute disgrace. Instead of proving something on soccer’s biggest stage, they laid a big fat egg in front of the entire world. But to be honest, I wasn’t really rooting for them. I tend to follow and support teams containing players from Arsenal and the Czech Republic have Tomas Rosicky.

Fact: Arsenal are tied with Chelsea as the club having the most players participating for their respective teams in this year’s World Cup.

Has anyone else noticed the ridiculous commentary from ABC and ESPN. I heard one guy say “Michael Beckham is great at free kicks” and mention Posh Spice like five times.
P.S. I support the French because of Henry.

You like French National Team b/c you know a badass Frenchman named Monseur Senecaux. He recently talked Henry about the Upcoming World Cup game and he seemed "confident" during dinner at the Chateau.
Have am sorry I have not been as involved with the blog as I should be but don't worry, I have recently quit my job so I am now unemployed. I am now cheering for the home team. I am on Germany's band wagon. I am also cheering for Argentina and Brazil. This is because I like how crazy South Americans are for their teams and the girls from South America are really hot.
I too am unemployed.
ryan, i just thought of this. Isn't it ironic how in Rambo 3 John Rambo, who some may say is a patriot, fouhgt side by side with Afgans who were recuited to fight the soviets? It is ironic because these so called "afgans" went on to be al-Qaeda. Rambo fought with al-Qaeda. It raises the question, is this enough to boycott all of Sly's movies or do we still have to watch them?

To any and all Radiohead fans:
You must, I repeat, must pick up the new Thom Yorke album when it comes out (sometime at the beginning of this month). I have had it for over a month now, and it kicks a serious amount of ass. It is most reminiscent of Kid A and Amnesiac, with angrier/lonlier lyrics. You'd be doing yourself a disservice if you didn't pick them shits up. Also, we need some new posts on this shit.
