It’s been much too long since my last blog entry. Apologies. And, as we all know, Vince (who I so naively trusted) did a terrible job of keeping “an interstellar burst” at the forefront of blog innovation. But before my spiel begins, I should first welcome Mr. Greg Summers to our small and unassuming blog community. At one point, it consisted of only your humble narrator. But by the grace of God it grew, hot damn it grew!

Today I received a haircut at what I can only describe as an Iranian hair salon. And for all I know, Iranians may be as gifted in the art of hair styling as Asians are in math or the Irish in drinking. But stereotypes aside, I was in desperate need of a trim. Were talking flirting with a mullet, or least a short-long. Anyways, terrible haircut, confidence at an all time low, avoiding mirrors.

I’ve read a number of interesting novels, one of which I recommended to my colleague Jeff Healy (I like to write this blog as if I’m speaking to an audience of admirers, by the way). One is “The Road” by Cormac McCarthy, winner of the Pulitzer Prize (which is meaningless in my opinion) and “The Kite Runner” by Khaled Hosseini, which I can scarcely describe in words. Read them if you can.

I’m still very much single but I often engage in promiscuous and unprotected sex from time to time. The scene here is a lot different than in Lawrence, more complicated, and a bit more colorful.

My phone recently got wet and I’m awaiting a new battery via mail. So reach me through the blog, at least over the next week or so. Jeff and Greg-UPDATE YOUR BLOGS.
That’s it, can’t think of anything else. Your lucky I wrote this much.
